i really want to go, but there is no way in hell i can make a one o'clock departure time. this saturday is going to be super busy at the bar for me. even two o'clock would be hard for me but i think i could do it.

    so, i'll go if it's 2 or 3 o'clock, but i won't be there if it's at one.

3 is too late; it's dark and cool by 6 now. 1 or 2 is good for me.

:( I just looked at the Weather Channel website. They predict rain all day on Sunday... 90% probability of precipitation. :(

I won't be there, my whole engine blew on monday, and I have to get a complete rebuild.

Turns out that all the gasket material used in the entire A55 engine is just pure crap.

Although... the fuel gate may have jammed open in my carb, filling the crankcase with liquid fuel while I was parked, and the resultant pressure would have also blown the head gasket (that, at least is toast). Chris is gonna do an autopsy on my engine, so I'll give you guys the skinny when I hear back. I'm getting a rebuilt engine for free (and no matter what source the engine, it'll have less mileage on it than my old one! HAHA) with all new rings etc and high grade gasket material, and I don't have to pay for it, so I don't really mind much.

Just to give you guys the heads up!

I just tested out my moped in the rain and it not seems to be immune to it :) This was thanks to a new plug wire and cap. I don't think a ride would be very enjoyable in the rain, but maybe things will clear up.

I'm going to be out quite late tonight, but I'll try my best to make it on time.

heh... and I just bought some really good rain pants on sale too.

Not that I actually LIKE riding in the rain...

where'd you get the rain pants? i've been looking for a pair.

    Canadian Tire.
They have some $10 pairs and some $20 pairs. Only problem was the pair I got are huuuuuuge... too damned baggy (The $20 ones were on sale for $10 in the store I went to and that was the only size they had left). But that only really matters if I'm riding my bicycle, not my moped.
I already had a very good raincoat.
