that makes much more sense. most places are fairly lenient with license restrictions. it's mostly just ontario that's so stupid about everything. it's just a cash grab, they just want our money.

That's how I've seen it from the get-go.
I've just found out though, that motor assisted bicycles are legal again on Ontario roads. The gov. is running a pilot program for a period of 3 years, sadly mopeds are in a different classification
