Let's make this ride a big one!
From all the comments on the last post, it's obvious that everybody has got the riding itch, haha! Let's make it a double whammy! Let's meet at Squirly's, play with them for a while and test ride them.
Bring tools and parts you may want to replace or install. Squirly's is at 807 Queen St West, west of Bathurst St., south side.
What time Sunday? 2, 3, anyone?

if we're gonna do wrenching we can't really do it at squirly's. maybe we should have a wrenching afternoon and then go for a ride after. there's no room at squirly's.

we can do it at my place i guess, but i'll kill anyone that shows up before 3pm. (i'm working at the bar the night before). i've got a decent size back yard and there's space in the alley behind my place too.

What... wrench day is going to be THIS sunday? I'll never make that, since I have to go get my old bike outta storage in Ajax. Are we goingt o have another day, or is this just a ride?

Also, another quick note: 3pm is a really bad time to start an outdoor wrenching day this early in spring. It'll get dark before we have a really good long time to work on the peds (also it may rain this weekend, but they jury's still out on that).
Really maybe just a ride would be best this sunday and we can have the wrench day sometime within the next couple of weeks, with more advanced planning so it can start earlier (and we can maybe even find a location that doesn't require 20 of us to overrun your lawn).

well scratch what i said about it running like shit. i just rode home from work (best riding day ever!) and for some reason it ran awesome!! maybe it's happy that it's warm out and it doesn't have to live under a tarp for the next few months:)

Hey folks, I live in a VERY large estate in North Rosedale. We have a large property with an indoor swimming pool(heated),decks and terraces(lots of room),and most importantly bathrooms!
I'm thinking we meet for the wrenching about 1pm. This early time is so that we'd have enough time to get in a decent ride after the wrenching. Anyone not needing to fix anything can lounge or maybe go for swim. Bring your own suits and towels though and any consumables. Let me know if this interests anyone.
Darcy.
