Stupid Rain
Well, now that Clementine's running nicely again, I took her out for a ride and of course got caught in a torrential downpour. What are we gonna do about this week? I'm out of town tomorrow and they're calling for thunderstorms again on Sunday. I need my RCMP fix!!

The weather forcasts call for only party cloudy days with rain or thunder storms during part of the day, so it can't rain all day all week. For instance, it was raining all morning here but the sun is shining right now in Cambridge.
My local Tomos moped dealer and friend, Istvan, has informed me that upon taking my transmission apart, it turns out my Maxi is not as broken as once assumed. What could have been a damaged housing and 120 dollars is only a broken bearing and seals which are only about 20 dollars each. Plus, the parts are fairly generic, so if I can get the parts locally then the ped can be fixed within the week rather than it sitting in Istvan's shop for however long it takes for an order to come in from one of the many online used moped part peddlers. Huzzah!
I think I'm still gonna order some stuff from moped warehouse anyway, but not anything that the bike needs to run so maybe I could ride with you guys next weekend, what do you say?

I think we should plan on a ride Sunday anyway. You can't go wrong forecasting Thunderstorms in July. So what do you think.....Squrilies at 3?

Dontcha just love it when ya get a flat tire miles from home!!!! grrrr. Two hrs. walking Nelly in the heat and humidity. I'm hot-n-sweaty, tired, in pain, and hungry dammit! Well my bus is hardly restored. It needs mega body work. I cant make it this weekend as I am camping in Grand Bend but the next weekend is probably OK. We'll keep in touch or maybe run into each other at Istvan's. I stop in there every now and then. Do you use MSN messenger?
