You seem to be well educated about moped use here in Ontario. I'm looking to buy a moped for a short daily commute (~8km) on very hilly terrain. I'm in Niagara region and my question is: can I use a moped in subzero temps? Keeping in mind I wouldn't be driving on slippery roads, i.e. when it's snowing.
I currently use a traditional bicycle, but I'm tired of sweating so much!
PS - looking at the 2005 Tomos bullet, new.
I'd appreciate some guidance on the subzero issue.

Hey Al,
you didn't leave a contact, so I'll address your questions here. I have a few years experience with Tomos mopeds. I also sell mopeds.
For future dialog e-mail me at simplymopeds@yahoo.com,

You can ride them in subzero weather, but dress really warmly. My son drove mine to work at -20 Celsius.
