OK Boys!

I won't be around this week as you all know, but I'm stil interested in what's going on Sunday. And I want PICTURES!!!

I also want your opinion on something completely un-moped-related. We have started a full Toronto Roller Derby League and spilt the Toronto Terrors into 4 teams. Myself and my friend Kris are captain & co-captain of one of them, and we're having trouble deciding on a name. So far the major contenders are (with a pirate theme) Chicks Ahoy! Bitches that don't crumble! and (with a Bob & Doug MacKenzie theme) Hogtown Hosers (and we'd all wear hockey jerseys with pictures of ourselves on them!!). But there are a million names we're throwing around. Comments? Suggestions? Whole new ideas? Post 'em here, I'd love to hear them.

So I'll be thinking of y'all on Sunday, the weather's supposed to be great, have an awesome ride. Here's to hoping I don't get ridiculous and try to ship back some wicked ass British mopeds:)

    "chicks ahoy" for sure.
    i'll take a half-dozen PC50's if have room in your carry-on.
unfortunately, the weather's not presently cooperating for this sunday afterall, but there's hope yet. let's try and make a call by saturday afternoon once the forecast is firmer- keep an eye out on the blog and MA for an announcement.
    have a blast lindsay!

I think the name would depend on the persona of the team. Are you a bunch of nasty badass's or the girls next door? Either way it should reflect Toronto somehow.

How about "T-dot Boulders" in over the shoulder boulder holder's?

Also, have as much fun as you can on your trip Linds!

Chicks Ahoy was my fave until I saw Helen Wheels. I like Derby Dozen too - are there 12 of you?

On an unrelated note, I have single-handedly destroyed our entire fleet one-by-one.

Sunday: Broke the pedal off my workhorse Mobylette.
Monday: Lost the chain from Zak's moby.
Wednesday: Broke the chain on the Garelli
Thusday: Solo died on me 30 feet from my destination.

sounds like we need at least one more good wrench before any long rides are realistic. if we're on for a ride, then i'm sure we could get at least one of your rides working.
it'll work out, don't be sad.

    Thanks Steve.
I know Zak's been running around town trying to find parts. He gave Freddie a call. Hope it all works out. I hate the TTC.
