got hit
I won't be riding for at least a couple weeks. I got hit pretty badly last night and they think my knee might be fractured. More details to come after I see the fracture specialist. Let me tell ya folks, I am NOT in a good mood.

Ahhh man that bites Lindsay. Hopefully its not too serious. Maybe you should reconsider this Roller Derby stuff. Bad knees can bother you for years once they are injured.

i was riding down college street when a woman turned right in front of me. i hit her going about 45, hit my head on her car and gor pinned under my bike beside the car. my log is pretty fucked but i could have been much worse. she was charged and i've told my insurance company. so we'll see what happens!

Lindsay, get a check up right away. Could be 'hidden damage' that might not show for a few weeks. Don't sign anything from any lawyers either! Get the doctor to give you physio asap.
I got run off the road into a steel telephone pole by a cabbie at York/Adelaide. He left the scene. My hand is still bad 2 yrs later. Get the physio

jann...........i was at the hospital from 10 last night until 7 in the morning getting x-rays and stuff. i have to go see a fracture specialist in the morning. my bruises are coming up and they are NASTY! my neck is only turning one way, yeah, i'm in pretty bad shape. but i've got my appointment in the morning. i'll keep y'all updated.

On another note, watch insurance companies count accidents like these where the other person is charded and clearly at fault as if it was the moped rider's fault so that moped insurance premiums go up... grrr
