About winter storage.

I'm on the hunt for a decent size garage to rent for winter storage for my bikes. I was just wondering if anyone wanted to go in on it with me. I'll be storing 7 mopeds (I think) so even in a one car garage, there would stil be a whole bunch of space. There's a nice one at Bloor & Palmerston for $100 a month, but I think we could find something cheaper. Let me know if anyone wants to do this with me.

2005 Targa LX for sale

Saw a posting in the Bike Trader of all places (There was a Streetmate too some other guy was selling, but I wouldn't buy a used Streetmate for any price right now, and the guy wanted $3k anyway... the cheek!)

2005 Targa LX (Red) 1300 Kms (looked to be in at least somewhat good shape in the photos anyway) asking $1600 (no great deal, but fair at least... for silly Ontario prices at any rate), phone number he left was 416-456-2269.

Sunday's Ride

The Royal Canadian Moped Posse will ride tomorrow. That's Sunday, September 25th. We'll meet at three o'clock at the Palais Royale on the Lakeshore. Here's a map for those of you who don't know where it is. Hope to see a good turnout! See you all tomorrow!

Restless

I've cheated folks. Last weekend I was really bored and I sort of made a bit of a trip late saturday night.

Not really much to say other than it was fun and that the streets of St. Catharines were laid out and labelled by a drunken, feebleminded mental patient.

Hello all! Simply Mopeds new location!

Hi all:

I am glad to announce that, finally, we have a showroom, up-town Toronto. The address is 883 St. Clair Avenue W. one block east of Oakwood, south-east corner.

In partnership now we carry not only mopeds, but also mini choppers, e-bicycles, folding bicycles and e-scooters.
You are all invited to pay us a visit. we are open every day except Sunday.

On another note, The RCMP gang had a nice R.I.D.E. along the Lakeshore this Labour Day. Numbers grew as we picked up mopedeers along the route. We were overwhelmed by the sheer number of riders out for a fun R.I.D.E. Everyone had a blast, and as far as I know, everyone got home safely. See you all next year for the second annual RCMP Labour Day R.I.D.E. program.

STOLEN GARELLI MOPED

My red 1977 Garelli was stolen this afternoon outside of 701 Queen St. W. in downtown Toronto. It’s plate # is EA377. It’s go white Garelli saddlebags on it. If anyone sees it, please let me know. Weather still holding up!

It is the middle of September and the weather is warm enough to ride in shorts and T-shirt. Got to love it!
For all of you mopedless readers, you don't know the freedom your missing. The savings on gas and insurance alone is a big weight off your back. Being able to go around traffic jams empowers those lacking power, the tame, and the timid.
Enjoy the warm weather while it lasts, and don't ever, ever, complain about the heat!

My newest acquisition! 1974 batavus Bingo! I awlays wanted a step through to match the HS50. This one actually looks nicer than the HS50, and it runs!

Motion Left's Lake Michigan Ride.

Check out the ride the crazy Indiana boys did a couple weeks ago. Here's an article about it. The three of them rode 1100 miles around Lake Michigan. SO, RCMP, when are we gonna beat their mileage with a cross-Canada ride? Haha!

RCMP Labour Day R.I.D.E. Program

Well, folks, at the ride tonight we decided that Monday is high time for a killer ride. SO, the Royal Canadian Moped Posse would like to summon you all to the RCMP Labour Day R.I.D.E. Program.



We will meet at 3 o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, September 5th at Dundas Square. We will then proceed to make a spectacle of ourselves, swarm down Yonge Street and spend the day cruising the Lakeshore. Any moped riders are welcome to come out and join us, so all you GTA and surrounding area folks, get off your asses and participate in the RCMP's Labour Day R.I.D.E. Program.
